Following successful runs on Xbox Live Indie Games and Steam, Beatshapers’ and Tribute Games’ fantasy brick-breaker WizOrb is set to make the leap to PlayStation Minis. With Mini support featured across all of Sony’s PlayStation hardware, that mean’s you’ll be able to play WizOrb on your PS3, PSP, or even the Vita.

Mixing the classic gameplay of Arkanoid with the retro aesthetics of The Legend of Zelda, WizOrb is a unique take on the traditional block-breaking formula. Featuring character animation from Paul Robertson (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game), a healthy dose of RPG mechanics and boss battles, WizOrb is an arcade throwback worth keeping an eye on.

As with most PlayStation Network game announcements no release date has been set. Though, considering the game’s been out on XLIG and Steam for some amount of time, I’d wager an early Summer release likely.
