The Steam Summer sale kicked off today and there are a few great daily deals on indies. First up we have the indie sandbox game Terraria, described by many as the sidescrolling Minecraft, which is $2.49. Next up we have the beautiful first-person dungeon crawler The Legend of Grimrock, which will set you back $5.99. And finally, the Indie Bundle I, which includes Anomaly: Warzone Earth, Cave Story+, EDGE, Lone Survivor and The Baconing, all for $9.99 total.
Of the deals the Indie Bundle I is hard to pass up, although I have all of the titles, minus The Baconing. Of the one’s I’ve got around to playing, Anomaly is a vastly underrated twist on tower-defense that I can’t recommend enough and EDGE is a charming little puzzler, one with really great music.
Tons of other indie titles are discounted as well, including Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, Dungeon Defenders and even Indie Game: The Movie.
The Steam Summer sale will be rolling through July 22nd. We’ll chime back in with some more of the indie highlights along the way.
